Molten Lava Cake is a dangerously addictive dessert. Once you try this recipe, you will not remove it from your to-do recipes.
Ingredients
- 92 g g butter
- 92 g unbleached flour
- 115 g Semi-sweet chocolate
- 1/2 Tbsp Ground Espresso
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
- 90 g sugar
- 2 Egg and 1yolk egg
- Icing chocolate for the top
Instructions
- preheat the oven to 350F, and butter your 4 ramekins and put them on the side
- In a bowl, over a double boiler melt the chocolate with the butter until is smooth
- On another bowl mix sugar and egg until they foam up, add the vanilla flavor with the espresso
- Slowly mix previous ingredients together and keep whisking
- Add the flour and mix until smooth
- Pour the batter into the 4 ramekins and place them in the oven for 10-15. Check with a toothpick the center ( supposed to be soft )
- Take them from the oven let them rest for 5 min. Flip them onto a dessert plate and spread iced sugar on the top
- Serve immediately with Vanilla Ice Cream or frozen berries
