These vegan chocolate chip cookies are a classic treat that everyone will love. The melted coconut oil adds a subtle coconut flavor, while the coconut sugar provides a rich caramel taste. Enjoy them with a glass of plant-based milk for a nostalgic indulgence.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of melted coconut oil
  • 3/4 cup of coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup of plant-based milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of vegan chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil and coconut sugar until well combined. Add the plant-based milk and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the vegan chocolate chips.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
